Can you keep it up for the rest of your life?

That's the question.

IF you are referring to LittleDolphins post 80 it doesnt sound like he/she is depriving themselves of anything in their dietary choice, my diet is very similar and i dont see any problems in maintaining it forever, its not like i'm secretly fighting cravings for burgers and fries all the time..

Yep, I can, I suspect. Been doing it for ten years or more. Helps that I love veggies, beans, fruit and nuts.

Maybe I was a squirrel in a previous life?

My health flourishes on this way of eating. Simple white carbs make me bloated. And beer? Not a pretty pictures.

There are a lot of beautiful recipes for paleo - the ones on Buzzfeed are really great - but I'm anxious about converting completely. It seems like a lot of work, and I'm really busy (and lazy). Does anybody subsist on a completely Paleo diet? if so can you tell me what it's like - your "hacks" and recipes and everything?
I've been eating a modified Paleo Diet (for health reasons) for about 5 months now, and I have been losing about 10 pounds per month, but it is a lot of work! It's also a bit controversial, especially because I am doing it due to health issues and there are many schools of thought.

My diet is modified in the sense that I haven't been eating much fruit, and I think I need to east less protein (working on that), and I am not sure I am aiming for the same ratios.

I eat what I consider to be healthy fats (coconut milk and coconut oil, butter, olive oil), lots of salad (lunch is often salad with pasture raised hardboiled eggs and/or walnuts), and tasty dinners with things like grass-fed beef or wild salmon, and usually steamed veggies. I eat a little dairy, mostly just a whey protein mix (makes a quick breakfast, just bought a brand called Paleo Meal and I mix it with coconut milk), and I have not eaten grains, starches, gluten, or sweets at all, and I really don't miss them (thanks to the increased fats and tasty dinners!).

Can't say I have "hacks" lol. But I really liked a book called Primal Body-Primal Mind (or try the website) and then there are a ton of cookbooks with meal ideas.

So you're against paleo AND high-fruit diets???
What are you for?...the way you happen to eat? Paleo & fruitarian are most likely more natural than however you eat.

Cooked/unnatural eaters should - as u say - "look in the mirror" before putting down other diets. Yeah, that's right..... we Fruitarians have great memories, and don't let people get away with puttin' us down.

We're "Obsessed" (as you called me)

I am against 'diets' in general, especially one that eliminates food groups. I am an omnivore and I believe in moderation. I eat whole fresh foods, good fats, lean proteins, whole grains and lots of fruit and veggies. I have maintained my weight for a very long time, my doctor marvels over my blood work, and I have a ton of energy and exercise quite a bit.
I go out to eat and enjoy a variety of foods and I drink wine almost nightly. I wouldn't trade my eating habits for paleo or your ridiculous fruit diet if you paid me.
