It increases your risk of cancer if you are ok with that.

There are actually reports that Ozempic and medications like it actually reduce a persons risk of cancer.

They lie to cover up the truth like they lied about everything during COVID. Another problem was people taking ozempic had problems with surgery and anesthesia the digestion is so slow it causes problems.

Stomach paralysis, also called gastroparesis, can be caused by diabetes.
There's an easy solution to that.

Put all prescription and non-prescription drugs, plus vitamins and supplements under FDA control.

No one is allowed to conduct any study on humans without the prior written consent of the FDA.

To get the prior written consent of the FDA, write up your study including the testing protocols, methodology and analysis and submit it along with a $10,000 fee.

The FDA reviews it and if the testing protocols are within the codes of medical ethics, and the methodology and analysis are sound, the FDA approves it and gives a 6-month window for a start date.

Once complete, the study is submitted to the FDA and the FDA publishes it online for the whole world to see.

The drug companies won't be able to hide anything and the makers of vitamins and supplements won't be able to make false claims based on cherry-picked studies.

That's true, and there have been linked articles on this thread that talk about this.

People undergoing a surgery requiring anesthesia need to fast prior to the surgery to avoid aspirating their vomit while they are under anesthesia. As Ozempic slows the passage of food through the stomach, people on this medication need to fast for a longer time prior to such surgeries.

IMO, it's not valid to claim that the manufacturer lied about this; it's simply something that needs to be taken into consideration for a specific event.

ya I'm not saying the manufacturer lied but its a fact of life that studies are biased by who funds them or are just poorly done.

Doesn't everything? Even breathing probably does at this point... seriously.

And yeah, I'm okay with that (if it were true, which is debatable). It would probably kill me less easily/quickly than obesity and diabetes, sooooo. Choose your poison!

Who are "they," and what did they lie about exactly? Probably not the thread for COVID talk, but perhaps you're mistaking "continuing research (that uncovers new information)" with lies. Common issue for people who have trouble with critical thinking.

I don't know about Ozempic since I've never taken it, but Mounjaro has warnings about common, less common, and possible serious or severe and side effects on all their literature, on their website, on materials for patients, healthcare providers, pharmacists, in all their training videos, etc.

Plus, it can't be purchased OTC (over the counter) in the U.S., it is only available through a prescription by a licensed healthcare provider.

Someone would have to be living under a rock and not read a thing to be unaware there are potential side effects on any of these GLP drugs (or, frankly, any drug in the U.S.). All those are listed. Drug interactions for those taking any other drug are also readily available (for doctor, pharmacist, and patients).

Even if the patient refused to read anything about a medicine they were taking, their healthcare provider is responsible for warning them AND monitoring them as part of a normal standard of care.

So, the manufacturers aren't lying? Or are they lying?

Who are "they"?

How do we know that you're not the one lying?

Can you name any drug that is completely free from all side effects and has never caused any problems for anyone?
