Bella is doing fine!! Of course she isn't her normal jumpy full of energy self but that is good as she is being careful of her incision. She was very happy to see her momma and my DD. I got lots of kisses which is unusual so she diffinetly missed me.
Her incision looks good. They said it was oosing (sp?) Tuesday morning a little bit so the vet not only gave her an antibiotic shot, he also put her on a round of antibiotic pills. I had to laugh because the vet tech started to tell me how to get her to take the pills. Remember, I had to give Ben 7 pills morning and night. Anyway, the incision looked great this morning. No redness, swelling, or oosing. They used metal sutures so that she won't lick them so she doesn't have to wear the cone. Yeah for that.
So besides her energy level I'd say the only other thing that isn't normal is her poop. Yes Dawn, it's time to talk poop. She tried to go last night and this morning but only a couple of small harder pieces came out. I'm going to call the vet's office when they open but I think it's probably from the anethesia. She ate well last night and is peepeeing fine so I'm not real worried.
Last but not least.............her nails. They are pepto pink. The ugliest shade of pink I have ever seen. I had to laugh. She doesn't like it either and has tried to chew it off. I'm going to stop on the way home and get nail polish remover so she won't have to go out in public like that. Poor baby.
