We gave a dog to a neighbor once and a week later it showed up at our door with a claw hanging . $400 worth of surgery later he was fine and we found a better home for him. A month later the first neighbor came to our door wanting the dog back ! Some people !

One of my sheltie pups [that I sold] broke his toenail way back. I cut the nail off the rest of the way, after that whenever he needed his nails cut we had to hold his mouth shut he would not bite me. He was 3 years old still mad at me when he died at 10 years old. I could still give him shots, clip him anything but as soon as I would grab the toenail clippers he would bite me! Another pup of mine did this I told the owners no take her to a vet or groomer, I did not want my babies to hate me when I visited them!

So how is your baby doing now???

Katie, thanks for asking! He is fine. Was fine as soon as he returned from the ER vet.
