Between the two of us, neighbors and us, we have, through attrition, a usual standing of 15 dogs. So, between us we have an understanding and we are both self-insured.

RE: lawsuit, nah. Still, being in the US territories, we could, they could; but between dog lovers, just won't happen.

But yes, you're correct, no lawsuit - and that is a good thing.

I too am glad your dog is going to be OK. Free flowing blood from a head wound would really terrify me. From your description I pictured you dog bleeding to death while you were on CD trying to get advice. Glad I was wrong.

And of course we have all come to appreciate all the many forums on CD. It has literally changed my life since moving to a new location and being somewhat isolated myself. And the pet forums are so valuable for those of us who really do treat our pets like family members.

I thought neosporin and dogs were a no no?
if your dog can ingest any of it it is not a good idea to apply
neosporin.

Whew - better safe than sorry. Even if she wasn't bleeding I would have still advised a vet visit. Dog bites can easily get infected if not flushed properly or treated with antibiotics. Infection....face.....not a good combo! Glad your pup is fine!!!!
