Here are the facts on this Nutro Natural Choice one: http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_f...oduct=17&cat=6

(Scroll down a little after the ingredients -- they explain the ingredients.)

Nutro brand has had numerous recalls (due to the "controversial fillers" they tend to use), so I'd steer clear of that or any brand which has been recalled (NO credibility.)

Dogfoodanalysis.com's 4+ star-worthy brands are the safest and most healthy bets for your pooch.

Good for you for not falling prey to the Science Fiction & Iams cons!! Good luck

Just click on the link provided by the poster above you. That should give plenty of info on most dog foods.

Due to skin issues, I'm currently feeding my pitty Avoderm Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Formula.

However, I'm thinking about switching to the Chicken Soup for the bla bla kibble.

Unfortunately some reviews are old and the ingredients have changed. I wish they would update the reviews.

I wouldn't post a Bulldog question on here, they are unlike any other breed! I have one and have gotten a wealth of information on a Bulldog forum, where everyone owns one (most more than one!) Bulldog. I have sent you a PM with some helpful info regarding this breed!

What (hard) pet food do you recommend?

I will assume you mean "dry" dog food. I have a very large, dark, smart German Shepherd Dog. His coat is silky and he has more energy than I do by far. He is my second German Shepherd Dog, the first one lived to be 14, Dreifus is 10 and still catching frisbees. The only brand of dry dog food I have ever used is found at Southern States, the agricultural co-op, it has changed names but, tis the same stuff. Now it is called "Complete" and is bought in a 40 lb bag. We have one of those big clear containers that is fitted upside down on a bowl, and holds at least 15 lbs, so he always has food. When friends bring their dogs over, Dreifus will let them eat out of his bowl, they always do, I haven't seen a dog yet that would not eat it.
