I love the schools. Myself, my little one's, and my friends and family, all of us had great experiences in school here in El Paso. I have had nothing but pleasant and helpful service from anyone at any of the schools I have encountered.

I love that the city embraces our neighbors to the south and that a Spanish alternative is widely available.

I love Ascarate Park.

I love the desert landscaping and the mountain scenery.

I love the feeling of being welcomed anyone in the city and that there are no outsiders.

I love the fact that there is little to no real corruption or crime in this city.

I was just at another forum. I mentioned I wanted to get some empanadas. Nobody had ever heard of them. Say what you want about El Paso, but imagine living in a city where Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme were your only options for pastries? No thanks!

I moved from a big city in the north-east. The first things I noticed and liked were the quiet nights, the starry nights ("My God--it's full of stars!"), and the rock walls which are very unique to El Paso.

I love El Paso because.

A) The most friendly people you will ever find anywhere else.

B) Because it's one of the safest cities in the nation and do actually feel very safe.

C) It has the most beautiful weather with over 300 days of sunshine, mildly hot summers and very mild winters. (It's January 20th and it's 63 degrees!!)

D) There are many outdoor activities I can do like bike, hike, camp, rock climb, fish. I can ski or snowboard 1 1/2 hours away.

E) It has a very rich history from native americans, Spanish Explorers to the Wild West and the Mission Trails.

F) After having bad city leadership from the 1980's to the 1990's we have finally awoken and are gearing our beautiful city in the right direction to regain it's rightful place as one of the jewels of the South West.

This is the strictly positive thread. Everyone respects the rules of the negative el paso thread. The same rules apply here. USMC El Paso's post and views should not be debated. Not in this thread. We are also not allowed to carry over posts to another thread. Muhnay, you need to follow your own advice and follow the TOS and rules of this forum.
