I suspect he will be our POTUS the next go around. Bank of America will be giving away houses in Chicago land soon to the poor minorities that walked away from them in the first place. So to buy votes with vacant homes will give him many loyal votes. What a way to win. The thing that liberals miss is what is happening in Greece will soon come to the USA and we will mirror Venezuala as well.

So along comes another contractor (we'll call him Contractor B), saying that "Yes, we can" fix it. You fire the old contractor, he looks at the horrible work the Contractor A did, charges a bunch of money, then looks at the roof. He fixes a little of it, but also spends most of his time complaining about how bad of a job Contractor A did and how he can't really do anything. The roof is still in shambles.

So Contractor C comes begging for your business. Contractor C is best friends with Contractor A, and hates Contractor B. He says "look at how terrible of a job Contractor B has done," and that you should hire him instead. The problem is that while it is true that Contractor B might have done a poor job, there is no evidence to suggest that Contractor C would do better, and that a comparable guy (Contractor A) also did a poor job.

So in other words, it depends on what you believe.
I prefer pizza analogies and presidential campaign contributions.

You buy two large pizzas.

With only 1 guy in the race (Obama), he gets to eat his whole pie (Democrat campaign contributions) and maybe even stick a couple of slices in the refrigerator for another day. He is very satisfied (just don't rat him out to the wife).

With 10 guys (GOP candidates, I don't know how many there actually are) in the race, they are divvying up their single large pie (GOP campaign contributions) to very small slices. They will still be hungry but there's no more dough. Some will die of starvation long before the next meal (general election) but they will still have taken pizza the front runners could have had to sustain those front runners. Even the one that makes it will be weakened from his little sliver of pizza.

Solution: Convince some of those starving Republican candidates right now to drop their slice and head for Taco Bell.

Speaking of pizzas, it doesn't look like Cain will last much longer, his staff is dropping out like Gingrich's.

As long as the economy and housing market remain one step ahead of comatose, Obama's not going to get reelected.

The unemployment rate among the youths in this country has exploded since he took over, and let's not discuss the 41.6% unemployment rate among black youths while we're at it; they'd have to be insane to vote for him again.

If anyone has experience the TOTAL HELL of being unemployed, then they would have to be INSANE or FREAKIN LAZY to vote for Obama again. Anyone wanting a job or wanting to keep their job, should vote for someone else...anyone besides Obama.

The "government goodies" won't buy my vote because I am not swayed by a lousy carrot. I live with constant guilt about collecting unemployment. The money didn't belong to me. I didn't EARN it. I want to EARN my money, my healthcare, and shelter.

So you must be a Socialist, since they are the ones that actually believe it is the job of the President to create jobs.

That rule applies generally, but it's the Great Depression, not a normal economic situation. The normal rules don't apply.

In a nutshell, he inherited the situation, wasn't responsible for causing it, has done what he can to stimulate what was an overstimulated economy and he's the best person right now to deal with it.
