None like this president. In GWB's first term, he did ~ 50 fundraisers. Obama has done over 150 in 3.5 years.
Either way, just think about what you're saying. Economics are dismal and this president is out campaigning and fund raising. It's obvious that he doesn't care AT ALL about our economy!
“Given that our opponents have the ability to fundraise full time — and that their special interest allies have committed to spending hundreds of millions of dollars in an attempt to defeat the President — it is necessary to raise significant resources now to build our organization across the country,” Ben LaBolt, a campaign spokesman, said in an email statement.
He has a point: Republicans have far outpaced Democrats in capitalizing on the relaxing of campaign finance rules that has taken place in recent years. Obama will have to contend next year with hundreds of millions in spending by outside groups like the Karl Rove brainchild American Crossroads, which plans to raise $240 million to help elect Republicans.
Why did they go to college if they couldn't afford it?
Wow, this is why our country is in shambles if you believe an ounce of this. A lot of students can't afford to go to college but they fight tooth and nail to get their degree even if it means taking out loans. The idea here is to get yourself in a position to earn a higher salary and then payback your loan. Everyone is not Mitt Romney, who just asked his parents to fork over his tuition.

so you are saying they shouldn't pay back the loans? Why should some students pay them back and others shouldn't? Our granddaughter is an example. After graduation from college she decided she wanted an advance degree. What did she do? She took out student loans and is paying every penny back. Hubby did the same. Now they have 2 kids, she is in nurse practioner school and again, has student loans. Again, she will pay them back...Most of she and hubby's friends are doing similar, and none expect anyone to foregive any part of their debts...
Judging by the major rifts which have come out of nowhere in the Democratic party in the past two weeks, and especially those involving president Clinton & Newark Mayor Cory Booker, it's ptretty obvious that the Democrats are eating their own.

So why not take out $1,000,000 in student loans right? At some point, your loan totals arent justified, wouldnt you agree?
And if you cant justify the loan totals, then why the hell should the tax payers be paying for it?

That's no way to get re-elected, sports fans.
The "rift" on the Democratic side is nothing more than a right-wing sexual fantasy. For all the talk on the MSM (which the right-wing says is liberal) that Clinton criticized Obama, he didn't.
"I said, you know, Governor Romney had a good career in business and he was a governor, so he crosses the qualification threshold for him being president," Clinton said Friday in New Jersey.
"But," Clinton added, "he shouldn't be elected, because he is wrong on the economy and all these other issues."
...
"Because I didn't attack (Romney) personally, and bash him, I wake up to read all these stories taking it out of context as if I had virtually endorsed him," Clinton said. "Which means the Tea Party has already won their first great victory: 'We are supposed to hate each to disagree.' That is wrong."
