Romney is not a Conservative Republican and Obama is not a Liberal Democrat. Both are quite moderate actually. Turn the same question around: Liberals, why vote for Obama. The answer is the same in both cases. For a Conservative, Romney is worlds better than the alternative: Four more years of Obama. For a Liberal, Obama is vastly better than electing Romney as president.
Kind of a stupid question in my opinion.
The really amusing part is the folks who say, "There is no difference, they're exactly the same!!" and then seeing those same people rant and rave about how stupid, incompetent, out of touch and useless the opposing candidate is. Well, if the two men are exactly the same then they're exactly the same. Throwing insults and calling one candidate names means it applies equally to both. So come election night, flip a coin and vote accordingly or don't vote at all. If they're exactly the same, it really makes no difference who wins, right?

You actually summed it up perfectly. They ARE exactly the same. And it doesn't make any difference which one wins. That is why I won't be voting for either one.

I'm not voting for the Mormon clown born with a silver spoon in his mouth, or the ineffective President we have now.
Of course, when I tell other conservatives this "well a vote for anyone who isn't Romney is a vote for Obama..." Which is an asinine statement if I've ever heard one.
I am also not voting for either Romney or Obama, albeit for different reasons. As for those who say "a vote for anyone who isn't Romney is a vote for Obama," I tell them "No, it is a vote for someone other than those two."

He was also a member of the "New Party" (communist) in Chicago, and there has been a photo of him posted accepting his membership (this was posted as far back as 2008). Obviously, you don't read much.
Correction: The "New Party" is socialist, not communist, as I erroneously noted. And by the way, here is a good article that appeared today on "The American Thinker" on the very topic of Obama and his ties to the "New Party."
President Barack Hussein Obama has run up more debt than every one of his predecessors combined. But blames President Bush with massive spending during his second term, and adds well over a trillion dollars for 2009...conveniently leaving out that the 'wild debts' President Obama was pontificating about started cascading after January of 2006...when the Democrats took over both houses of Congress with a veto proof majority and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid started running things.
Second, President Obama also leaves out the fact that the then Senator Obama was a member of Congress who was sworn in after the 2004 elections and remained in the Senate throughout George W. Bush's second term.

Exactly. Romney will be good. He is a good man, and he is honest. Obama is a liar, and he is evil. He is a Marxist/Socialist (that is how he was raised). He hates America.
It is clear Romney is not a conservative. It is further clear Ron Paul is... So I don't understand why they don't support him, he seems the perfect choice for a conservative.
