Sanders is on TV now. If you didn't know you'd think he has just endorsed Hillary. Can't say enough good things about Obama. What a loser.

Women are generally more left wing than men but in this case we have a candidate who runs on a platform promising to shift the party to the right to meet with Mitch McConnell in some type of "middle" (only cutting social security with $2500 per year?).

In a rational world, Elizabeth Dole would have been America's first female president.

I can't imagine that she would have beaten Clinton but absolutely she should have been the candidate instead of her husband.

It's set in stone. The only ways she won't be the candidate is if Lynch indicts her, which Obama won't allow or she dies. It is set in stone.

So tell me, not that I care, how is this super delegate BS not disenfranchising the people in the states that voted for Bernie, only to see Bernie not getting his FAIR share of delegates?
Superdelegates are not set in stone until the Convention, Hillary has a huge lead with them, but it doesn't mean she would have gotten them in the end. If Bernie wins the pledged delegates, the superdelegates will swing for him.

This isn't over, but it was a big night for Clinton, Sanders really needs a strong showing on Super Tuesday and that likely became morre difficult with her margin tonight.

Thank you. You said it a lot more tactfully than I was going to...

Really? Someone who can't even properly handle email is the most qualified to become the President of the US?

Maybe not against Clinton. But she had plenty of running years ahead of her, and there were some Rs who were talking her up and eager to claim the first female president for their own. But she never get traction because - well, we all know why.

I realize that you're probably thoroughly accustomed to a political climate that resembles an episode of Jerry Springer, so I completely understand if the concept of someone being decent, gracious and a good sport is shocking to you. Try to take a deep breath and process each "thank you" and genuine handshake one at a time. You won't combust, I promise.

I don't know if you're old enough to remember Shirley Chisholm?
Quote:
Democrat Shirley Chisholm was the first female African American member of Congress, and as a presidential candidate she made it to the Democratic Convention in 1972. Her success so enraged Richard Nixon that two high-ranking officials in his administration composed a fake news release on stolen Hubert Humphrey stationery alleging that a “hostile and aggressive” Chisholm, dressed “as a transvestite in men’s clothing,” had spent time in a Virginia mental institution for schizophrenia.
