Former Speaker John Boehner said Paul Ryan should be the Republican nominee for president if the party fails to choose a candidate on the first ballot.
"If we don't have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I'm for none of the above," Boehner said at the Futures Industry Association conference here. "They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I'm for none of the above. I'm for Paul Ryan to be our nominee."
Kinda funny since Boehner just unofficially endorsed Kasich in OH. . . .
Boehner should team up with Team Trump . . . . they'd make a perfect ticket. Mr. Trump has said he wants someone "political" for his VP. Imagine it like this.
These two corrupt establishment politicians should be standing on the side of Pennsylvania Avenue with cups in their hands! If the Republican or Democratic establishment spent as much money on a new water system for Flint Michigan, as they are spending to stop Trump; Flint would have the best water in the World!
The one thing that Boehner, Ryan, Rubio, Kasich, Sanders, and Hillary have in common is they are all part of the open borders group. It clearly shows the voters that our vote does not count!
They get it, they just don't care. They want to protect their lavish lifestyles and power at all costs.
I believe this is true. The GOP would actually prefer to throw the election for Hillary vs. having Trump become President and disrupt their cozy little world.
