I shouldn't worry. There are deadlines, and then there are deadlines, one of which may be changed by Congress.
While the electors are set to cast their votes on December 19th, they have until December 28th to transmit the votes to the Senate. The actual counting of the votes, in Congress, is set for January 6th, although this is where Congress may, by law, change the date.
Suppressing the vote. Republican officials do dirty tricks like closing down voting center in Dem areas, causing long lines; purging voter rolls at the last minute so people can't re-register before the deadline; restricting voting hours to discourage votes from working people. Yeah, I'm looking at you North Carolina.
Yet again you speak of that which you don't know. Those changes were not in effect for this election.
Furthermore, NC had more people vote in Early Elections than ever before.
Hillary Clinton never had a chance in NC. I said this many times on this forum before the election.

yeah no kidding...kind of makes you think that maybe we do need this recount
It sure is beginning to look that way. Be interesting to see more counties come in.
"...President-elect Donald Trump’s margin of victory in Pennsylvania is shrinking as more counties finish tallying their votes....An updated count Friday by state election officials shows Trump’s lead over Democrat Hillary Clinton has shrunk to 49,000, from 71,000..."
I see you make NO mention of Stein and her frivolous fund. What do you suggest she do with the $8 million dollars?
Maybe Donald thinks her fund and the recount is as stupid as I think it is... and many others that feel the same way... Donald is extremely popular and is not worried because he won not by a bucket-full but by a LANDSLIDE! He is more scared of Lyin' Hillary coming out of the closet with her rolling pin to try and hit him in the head....after hitting Bill with it...If you knew more about Donald Trump you would know he fears very little and loves to WIN!
She needs it to fight Donny's lawyers.
Thanks, but I know as much about Trump as I need to know and probably more than you. I've lived around the guy for 25 years.
Anyone else starting to get the feeling that the Clintons are up to something again, and that the recount is a distraction?
I believe they know there was no evidence of tampering or anything, but...
Could they be looking for some kind of law that could possibly prevent Trump from winning?
Well the longer the recount farce goes on the more dissenters will not accept Trump.
In Michigan the liberals want a hand recount so they can look to subjectively throw out ballots.
We have to fill in ovals - if someone put an ink speck in one oval and completely filled in another candidate's oval - the computer will count it as a valid vote for the filled in candidate and not register the speck.
Team Hillary/Stein could bounce ballots if they find or accidentally create specks of ink in another oval as a double vote and therefore an invalid ballot. It has been stated by a Democratic official on local radio that they will look for such ballots...who will monitor this 24/7 during the recount to ensure it is fair and honest?
The Alt-Left is the threat to democracy that Hillary ironically warned us about in advance of the election for not accepting results.
