In response to the posts about illegals voting in California and the comments that they couldn't be because a California DL or ID card is needed to register:
California has received yet another extension (to 2020) to comply with the Real I.D. act. That means that California is currently unable to attest that everyone they've issued a drivers license to is actually that person and is a legal citizen. Counterfeit proof of identity continues to be a huge problem--probably in more of the country than just California.
So hopefully the people voting were citizens, but there's no way to do a blanket statement that they must have been.

Of course that is the real reason Democrats fight so hard against voter ID laws. One really can't verify the identity of a voter, and can look the other way, and deny, deny, deny when illegals do vote. And when you have no less than the Obama on record encouraging illegals to vote ( "when you vote you're a citizen"in response to a "dreamer" saying she consider them citizens because they contribute) by informing them they won't be caught or deported if they vote, why wouldn't they?
