Early voting needs to go away. Too much time to commit fraud. Either vote by absentee ballot or show up on election day. It's bad enough we have fraud with absentee and election day.

So many multiple millions of fraudulent votes...

Should be easy for president Tweet & Co to track down the leak in the ****. But the proof's on them.

Let's see it.

No thank you, it is idiotic to require an entire nation to vote on the same day. It makes more sense to allow for mail in ballots and for people to vote during a two week period at their convenience. I would never want to live in a state that restricts voting like you are suggesting.

It's idiotic to allow people to vote for several weeks only to make it harder to detect fraud. Also gives more opportunity in the future for voter fraud. It will only get worse.

You're on board with big government data, then?

Why stop there?

Maybe we could all get a microchip implanted and submit to constant satellite surveillance too. Toss in an audio feed capability so the government would know what you hear and say at all times. Yeah, that's the ticket.

According to whom?

Are you saying that databases cannot be hacked and manipulated and digital information can't be spoofed?

It is no harder to detect than letting people only vote on one day. You still only get to cast one vote, it is pretty simple. In Oregon, we all get mailed a ballot, many of us fill out our ballot, and then we either mail it in or take it to a drop box during the two week period. It is pretty simple, and doesn't have any issue with voter fraud like so many conservatives keep saying happens.

Though I take it you are all in favor of doing recounts in order to check to make sure everyone who voted in this election legally voted?

Again if you are not positively identifying the voter for all forms of voting there is no way for you to determine the extent of fraud. This like telling a cop not to watch a stop sign and then declaring no one went through stop sign because no tickets were issued.

In NYC they conducted an investigation, 63 people walked into different polling places and tried to vote under names that were ineligible. Moved, dead or whatever. 61 of them were successful and here's the kicker... they were all middle aged and about 10 of them voted under a name of someone elderly.

I must have missed those headlines. Can you provide a link so I can read the report?

This is data they already have.

What I said was it could not be duplicated by a third party, there is no fake ID available on the market that duplicates that security feature that I'm aware of and if there is it's probably not going to be cheap. That is not the only security feature of that ID, there is one feature if you know where to put your finger you can tell if it's fake. Any bartender in PA can tell you if it's fake ID without looking at it.

As far as hacked data you are getting into whole other discussion. Nothing in the digital realm can ever be 100% secure and If anything voter ID improves that security. If someone hacks into a voter registration database and adds a bunch of names? How are you going to detect that at the polls?
