That was my exact point. Trump's 'landslide' is comparable to the loss of someone regularly regarded as a wipeout candidate.

And Hillary's unfavorable were insane. No other D will walk into a race with that level of built in animosity. I know people who literally showed up to vote against her. This has been an ongoing issue for twenty-something years and her actions/reactions/secrecy has only served to heighten that problem. I see no other Dem capable of drawing that much ire. She also had twenty something years of Clintonian triangulating that left many on the Dem end of the spectrum very dubious about her positions and real intentions. She didn't so much lose the middle (those folks didn't really vote) as much as she lost portions of the D base. I think Martin frickin O'Malley would have actually done better with some segments of the D base.

People living on land mass vote. That's why Hillary lost. I know it's a difficult concept to come to grips with.

Actually- Hillary lost this thing in Rustbelt cities and suburbs. She obviously lost rural areas by larger margins but if you are a strategist the quickest place to make up ground would have been Philly, Pittsburg, Detroit, suburban Detroit and greater Milwaukie.

She also did poorly in NH and NC compared to past D candidates.

I said many times that Hillary was facing landslide losses. That turned up to be true.

Are you getting paid by the word? Or are you just a dyed in the wool propagandist?

Either way, I think you are approaching Trump overkill. Everyone knows he won. Your gloating isn't going to change that, and it won't change anyone who voted for Clinton's minds, for sure. Why not give it a rest until the guy has a chance to prove he's really worthy of your adoration?

Was Obama a landslide, also? Hint: the answer is no, even though he received far more electoral votes in both of his elections.
The thing is that I recall many on the far-left absurdly saying that Obama's 2012 victory was a landslide, even though a four-point popular vote victory and an electoral vote victory of 332 to 206 were both below-average showings for the winning candidate. Obviously, it is an even bigger joke to suggest that Trump won in a landslide.

Wingnuts on both sides will always claim that their candidate won in a landslide. But in order for such a claim to be true, one needs to compare any given election to historical election results. Landslides are, by definition, victories of historically large magnitude. Here's a guide that may help the ignorant:

"worthless red states"... sums up most liberals' mindsets pretty well!!! Maybe a clue as to why they lost big.
