The Left in the U.S. LOVED Russia (and acted as its agents) when it was Communist.
They even gave it a pass when it united with Hitler to invade Poland.
But now they see Russia as a big threat.
They claim Russia rigged the election, favoring Trump.
Actually, the only attempted election rigging that we know of consisted of the following:
1) DNC head Debbie Wassermann-Schultz working with Clinton's campaign to make sure that Bernie wouldn't win the nomination.
2) The current DNC head Donna Brazille feeding debate questions in advance to Hillary when Brazille worked for CNN.
3) Obama's attorney general Loretta Lynch meeting with Bill Clinton on an airplane to arrange things so that Hillary would not get indicted.
4) DNC staffers arranging for rent-a-thugs to go and start fights at Trump rallies.
5) The lying liberal mainstream media colluding and coordinating with the Clinton campaign.

Assuming that the Russians hacked the DNC at all, what they did wasn't election rigging.
Instead, it was REVEALING that the election was BEING rigged -- by the Democrats!
Totally agree. If the Russians leaked info that MAY have swayed election, I am not too thrilled about that. BUT why is this domestic election rigging - and this is rigging not just leaking information that happens to be the truth not a HUGE issue? Far far worse, and I find it hard to imagine some law wasnt broken here by the DNC.

as opposed to Putin, tells me a whole lot about where their loyalties lie.

Putin looks out for Russia, not the globalist New World Order. This makes him dangerous to the establishment wings of both parties, not just dems or reps. This also makes him dangerous to the EU which is why he is already being blamed for any possible loss by Merkel in next fall's election.
There ya go again with that strawman nonsense about the "left". There has not been a "left" in the USA since 1968 and the Weathermen. The vast, vast majority of both Democrats and Republicans are CENTRISTS, and in many respects are apolitical.
Above all else, the centrists are a practical lot. Centrists are what have kept the economic engine of this country going for all the decades after WWII. Centrists have kept the lights on and have kept the wolves at bay. You're right about one thing - most of the centrists recognize Putin for what he is, a dangerous narcissistic thug that would tear Europe apart in a heartbeat if he thought he could get away with it. The Trump supporters that are throwing their allegiance to Russia are playing with fire.

You're right about that. Humans try to delude themselves into believing they are somehow superior, but at the end of the day the veneer of civilization is very thin. Politics and philosophy and religion are all ways to keep some sense of order for a while- but a couple of times every millennia the human race does a reset. Maybe we are overdue.
