Pretty much agree with you but there will be 2 or 3 others that will hang on until later in the year or maybe even until the first primaries. I don't see Beto realizing he is finished and bowing out gracefully..

He should be looking at the Senate anyway. McConnell is as much a threat to democracy as Trump.

How so? Has Trump passed any illegal laws by himself of enacted any illegal policy? Our REPUBLLIC is threatened by foreign, illegal aliens and you're worried about McConnell and Trump? Wow.

For comparison purposes, there were 12 Republican candidates still in the race when the Primaries started in 2016 (about 70% of the initial field). I would suspect a similar amount of Democratic candidates will be in the race when the Primaries start this time.
