Eric Swalwell is out of the running (vote, thought, president)

As a Californian, my guess is that Swalwell had no illusions about getting the nomination and his real purpose was to get his name out there for a future Senate run. Sen Feinstein is 86 years old and Sen Harris has a shot at the nomination, so there could be one Senate opening soon, Feinstein's in 5 years max. Ted Lieu would be a good Senate candidate as well; in fact, he'd be my first choice.
