I notice that Eric Swalwell has picked up a Democratic challenger for his house seat.

I'm not sure, but I think she's an ally of AOC & co. Eric is apparently too moderate for them.

Really wasn't a challenge to him at the time. Wahab got into the race a few days after Swalwll announced his Presidential run. Too early to say at this point if she stays in the Congressional race with him back in it or how strong of a challenger she might be if she stay in.

Do you know if she is an ally of AOC? I heard that implied on a conservative talk show. I'm wondering if this is an effort to add to the AOC/Omar/Tlaib/Pressley coalition ('the squad,' as Pelosi calls them).

I googled around but could find nothing about any alliance.
