My former manager used to always rank on this guy at work from Kentucky. I remember one time he told him, "the only good thing to ever come out of Kentucky was an empty Greyhound bus".

This guy used to collect those special commemorative US quarters, and he was real excited when the Kentucky quarter was about to be released. So one day the boss walks up to him all excited, and says "look, I got one of those new Kentucky quarters!". The guy comes running over to see it, and the boss whips out two dimes and a nickel, he had glued together. The whole office just about peed their pants laughing.

Obviously this has nothing to do with politics, but as long as we're ripping on Kentucky, I figured I'd share my story....

Why don't you just admit that you do not know what you are talking about?

Help me understand what KY offers, or just exactly what's in KY. I'm looking here on CD, the average condo costs less than 100K - less than 100K???? The median household income is less than 38K. What can you foreclose there? Why don't you tell me? The average mortgate is just about $ 400.

That data is definitely outdated or inaccuarate. What does Kentucky offer? Low cost of living, low crime rates, pristine, beautiful nature, thousands of acres of lakes, abundant wildlife, eight major universities, many prestigous private colleges, Louisville has some of the best hospitals in the world, Louisville, Bowling Green, and Lexington are headquarters to some of the biggest companies in America, and yes we have basketball tradition. Here is what Kentucky is about:

Horses actually do put food on some people's table. A lot of food.
