There is no guarantee they will lose but Republicans may look back on the 2022 elections in Pennsylvania as opportunities they threw away by choosing badly flawed nominees for Senate and Governor. In a purple state with a deeply rooted population, they could have chosen candidates who (for Governor) took more positions that appealed to the center of the electorate and not just the far right, and (for Senate) actually resided in the state for more than a minimal time.

We'll see if disapproval of Biden will sweep them both to victory nonetheless, or if Pennsylvania voters consider other factors when they make their decisions this fall. Endorsements from the Big Orange Man are all very well in red America, but they may not work out in a state he lost by over 82K votes.

The TV doctor never has a stroke during the campaign!!!

Conservatives trying to tell themselves that this forum isn’t a right-wing echo chamber is so amusing.

That's fine. By the end of the night the GOP will expand the governorship to 31 (+3) to Democrats 19.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...rojection.html

In 2 weeks, the GOP will have the House, Senate, the majority of the governorship by 12 states margin and the majority of the state legislative branches of the country. Add the 6-3 majority of the Supreme Court. DAMN! luckily for the Democrats the WH is not on the ballot, that would be gone too. You Democrats will have a very bad night. Bad one. After the massacre is over future campaigns will study the dumb Democrats in things not to run and never to ignore the needs of the voters.

You Democrats will have a very bad night and if Biden was in the ballot he would be gone too.
Not a democrat just don't follow your cult leader.

This race will have an affect because the Governor in PA appoints the secretary of state. Presidents don't win unless they win Pennsylvania 2024 won't be as easy as you think it will be.

^^^^ from a voter that voted for Biden. The GOP doesn't need PA to win in 2024. All the GOP needs is to win back AZ, GA and WI but if those states fall so will PA. Keep being in denial like 2022.

Why would it matter which party the Secretary of State belongs to? I thought our elections were beyond reproach.

You're not suggesting that Democrat Secretarys of State, governors, and judges changed and modified election laws during the 2020 election, are you? If so, you'd be 100% correct, but you would need to be deplatformed and investigated by the Biden DOJ/Gestapo.
