An article from vanityfair quoted Desantis.

"DeSantis in private trashes Trump. “He calls him a TV personality and a moron who has no business running for president,” a former DeSantis staffer said. DeSantis tells donors that, if he takes on Trump, he would launch a full frontal attack on his record and competence."

I'm no Desantis fan but he could probably defeat sleepy joe with two hands behind his back better than old spent Trump.

Do we really want two old geezers going at it again in 2024? Desantis is young energetic and isn't afraid of anything.

There's no upside to challenging Trump. DeSantis knows he's unlikely to beat him so why make him an enemy. It's a no brainer for DeSantis: He's sitting 2024 out.

Unless of course...Trump decides not to run. In which case DeSantis moves to the front of the line.

No fan of DeSantis at all, but he would beat Trump. And I think Trump is aware of that. Hardcore supporters of Trump want him re elected. Moderates of the party won't vote for him though. They will, however, vote for DeSantis. Trump has too much baggage and is too old. Plus, it's all about him at his rallies. People are tired of that.

Biden has been so bad that anyone will easily beat him in 2024 if the Democrats are dumb enough to nominate him again, which they are.

They will not be able to replicate 81M alleged votes for Biden in 2024 again, because they won't have the cover of the pandemic and because people will be paying much closer attention. Even the media won't be able to cover up large scale fraud a second time (like the false and manufactured water main break in Fulton County Georgia).

Either DeSantis or Trump or any other random name from the phone book will beat the worst President this country has ever had. There aren't enough brainwashed leftists out there. Yet, at least.

The Dems and the MSM would like nothing more than to see a Trump/DeSantis battle. But what's the upside for DeSantis... he wins the nomination? At what cost? Why **** off Trump and his supporters. There's always 2028.

The best move is to sit 2024 out unless the Rep come up short in Nov.

In which case Trump likely won't run and DeSantis moves to the top.

On the flip side if the Reps do win big this year Trump will likely jump in and against Biden he has an excellent chance of winning.

Actually, I don't want DeSantis to run because he would probably win. Trump will just lose again because he's lost a lot of people who took a chance on him. They won't make that mistake again. Red states always vote republican anyway. So Trump isn't a factor.

You are right it is all about the swing states, AZ, PA, WI, MI. Trump will not win those states.

Another Vanity Fair with anonymous sources. With the midterms 5 weeks left I guess they need Trump to sell that rag.

You know the article is fake when the writer says: “He calls him a TV personality and a moron who has no business running for president,” a former DeSantis staffer said. DeSantis tells donors that, if he takes on Trump, he would launch a full frontal attack on his record and competence, according to a GOP source briefed on the conversations. “DeSantis says the only way to beat Trump is to attack him head-on. He says he would turn to Trump during a debate and say, ‘Why didn’t you fire Fauci? You said you would build the wall, but there is no wall. Why is that?’ ”

Either Vanity is talking to the Lincoln anti-republicans or made that up with help with the Democrats. Our MSM is garbage.

Why are Democrats giving advice who should be the nominee with their wishful thinking? Where did you get your information? Trump poll numbers against Biden, Kamala and Warren are very good and he is the front runner by a huge margin in the 2024 primary in all polls.
