I doubt that. I would be willing to bet that given a choice between Biden and DeSantis, any true centrist or moderate or anyone who just leans left would vote for DeSantis. There are plenty of people like me who only voted for Trump because Biden/Harris was the alternative -- just like there were plenty of people who voted for Biden only because Trump was the alternative.

Many people don't like DeSantis, but at least he is not nearly the buffoon that Trump or Biden is -- and he is definitely under 75 years old. The idea that two such old people are even eligible to run for POTUS is as stupid, imo, as allowing someone who is under 21 to run. (And I am a senior, btw.)

If the Republicans want another 4 years of Biden or Kamala they will nominate Trump for the third time

Let's just keep recycling old spent candidates each election cycle. Desantis seems like the only one who could get moderates from both parties and most likely win by a landslide against someone like Biden.
