Trump doesn't need Michigan to win He needs to win 3 out of 4 in AZ, GA,WI or PA and Trump lost all 4 in 2020 by an average of 0.7%. He is leading today in the polls in AZ, GA, and PA and WI he is within the margin of error.

Arizona Trump by 3% https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...iden-7907.html
GA Trump by 5% https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...iden-7747.html
WI Biden by 1%: https://www1.realclearpolitics.com/e...iden-7398.html
PA Trump by 5%: https://www1.realclearpolitics.com/e...iden-7398.html

Trump only needs 3 out of 4. I know that TDS blinds people but come to the light.

If Trump is out, I don't think there's any doubt DeSantis is running. If Trump jumps in, who knows.

DeSantis is basically Trump 2.0 -- he has all of Trump's fighting gumption with none of his baggage or unfocused discipline. Unfortunately Trump almost certainly lacks the humility to bow out gracefully and let DeSantis pick up where he left off. DeSantis is the only other GOP candidate who stands a chance of coming out alive in a primary fight against Trump, but even if he does, it's hard to imagine he does so without being seriously bloodied.

It’s common sense. People want the younger generation to take over. We are tired of these old people.

Start with your party. You had Hillary in 2016 and a bench in 2020 that ended up in Biden. Kinda hard to accept that Democrats now are lecturing about youth and the GOP has to start.

But why would DeSantis take on Trump now when he would be 2 years into his 2nd term and divide the base? in a bloody war which he risks being destroyed like other GOP candidates when he can have it all in 2028.

The record on taking on Trump in the GOP head on is not a good one for the challenger. From Governors, Senators and Representatives, Trump is undefeated. Ask Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Mitt Romney, Flake, Liz Cheney, Kinzinger, the list is long and DeSantis isn't playing stupid because the anti-Trump Republicans, Democrats and MSM are pushing for the fight.

Everyone here knows damn well if Trump ends up running against Biden he has an excellent chance of winning. The Dems are stuck. Identify politics demands if Biden steps down Harris be allowed to run. And Trump probably even a better chance against her.

Newsom? Forget it. Harris won't bow out quietly if she's passed over.

Like it or not the Dems are stuck with Biden.

They made their bed. No way Kamala will let Newsom take the #1 spot because Newsom would bring his own VP and it won't Harris. It has to be very frustrating for the Democrats that they threw the kitchen sink at Trump for the last 6 years from Russian hoax, 2 impeachments, Hearings, FBI raid and N.Y. lawsuit and the press on their side and Trump still has a good path for the nomination and a path for the general.

For starters, I don't know that he would. But if he does, he's had six years of watching Trump's M.O. and would hopefully learned something from the downfall of the other candidates. None of them had any idea what was about hit them whereas DeSantis would go in eyes open. And he has the discipline to deal with Trump's bluster, he doesn't alienate the non-MAGA voting bloc, and yet still presents an alternative even many erstwhile Trump supporters can back.

It’s not if he can beat Biden, if it’s he can beat Trump. Dems had to elect a rich old white man because they didn’t believe anyone else could do it.

Does America really want two men running for President when their combined age is 160 years? Can't we get someone younger?
