I think her position is clear, and very elegant.

She has nothing to discuss with someone who insists the prior election was stolen.

Not going to dignify her ridiculous rantings by answering them on a stage with her.

Rise up.

Katie Hobbs is a proven racist as determined by a jury of her peers. If there's anyone who should be "not dignified" by their opponent, it's her.

I'm surprised you are such a huge cheerleader for a proven racist like Katie Hobbs. I guess it doesn't matter to you, since she's a Democrat.

Uh, what jury of her peers?

Sometimes, people disagree because one person doesn't have the same facts in front of them. Katie Hobbs has never been convicted "by a jury of her peers".

This one:

Quote:
PHOENIX — Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs apologized Wednesday to the African-American policy adviser who recently won a multimillion-dollar jury award against the Arizona Senate for racial and sex discrimination.

A federal jury determined Talonya Adams, 45, was fired by the state Senate in 2015 because she complained that her low pay was the result of racial and sex discrimination. She was awarded more than $2 million in damages, which will be knocked down to $300,000 due to a federal statute.

Maybe you don't understand civil vs. criminal law.

No one was convicted.

Are you kidding me? She should have done the debate. I’m sure you’d be screaming, whining, and wailing if the shoe was on the other foot and Kari Lake decided not to debate her due to her insistence that the 2020 election was the safest and most secure EVER, or some other ridiculous reason.

I’m really surprised you’re praising her for not doing that.

Votes have been trickling in the last couple hours, and Hobbs has held her lead at a consistent 25.1K votes over Lake.

The big dump from Maricopa hasn't been released yet today.

Were there more candidates on the ballot - that would have occupied the stage besides Hobbs and Lake? If so, I agree she should have done the debate, to showcase viewpoints.

We need to vanquish the people who continue to try to fool the American public that the 2020 election was a fraud, and not participate in their public platforms where they will continue to attempt to spread this misinformation.

I agree with it totally. Normally debates are a good thing, but in cases where candidates intend to perpetuate conspiracy theories, well, don't get on the state with 'em and dignify their rantings.

IMHO.

Very sad for our “Democracy” that you’re happy that someone decided not to give voters the chance to see the candidates side by side.

O beautiful for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain …

I didn't use the word "conviction," you did. I said she was a proven racist by a jury of her peers, which is absolutely 100% correct. That's why she gave her faux apology eventually.
