Down to just 3 weeks, and counting, for the radical uber leftists to be expelled from having total power in DC.

Do the radicals have an October surprise in store?

a war?

civil disorder leading to martial law?

a new way to cheat in elections?

will they burn things to the ground on their way out the door?

will they fortify their secret underground state in DC, so the new regime will be undermined?

or, will they go away peacefully?

{shrug} I'm in Florida, so I'll be voting for DeSantis and Rubio.

Lot's of talk in this tread about Trump - sorry, but he's not on the ballot this year.

Generic ballot looking real good for a RED wave. I particularly like that spike in the last week. I've said it on here for months, independents and the working class were going to break hard for Republicans when the election got close and I stand by that. You can't win nationally with just coastal college degree holders.

I personally throw Economist/YouGov out of any average because they almost ALWAYS show the best numbers for democrats and for a looooong time in the spring kept Biden's approval average above 40%.

Relief will be slow and likely painful, but it will eventually arrive regardless of the outcome of the midterms.

I do think a change in leadership in Congress will boost consumer confidence a bit and speed up the relief but for many of us, it can't come soon enough!

Will Republicans actually get anything done in Congress or use Biden as a crutch for two years and just block everything? Then blame Biden when they accomplish nothing.

Just block everything so no further damage can be done. If the Rep take back the WH in 2024 and hold the Congress/Senate they'll have their two years to strut their stuff.

They screw it up... and they'll get the boot.
