She has this long speech about how Racetrack enslaves children or something. The truth is she’s not voting for him cause he’s black. But she’ll never admit it. I don’t blame her, she does have to sit next to me. If she said that I’d start playing NWA from my PC and bringing chiltins for lunch every day.
What’s sad is that she spouts off all these rumors and the receptionist actually believes them and then goes around repeating to them other people. I swear in FL ignorance spreads just as quickly as HIV. No one wants to take the time to find out things for themselves, so they rely on others to keep them aware.
It can't be disputed that a certain percentage of the electorate dislike Obama solely because of his skin color.

I've read through this thread and it is mainly a thread for Obamatrons to throw out the race card. Get over it Obamatrons, your candidate is not what he claimed to be. Doesn't matter what color he is, but it does matter that he is a LIAR.
I would think those that are concerned with the weakening of the American system would be outraged at the last 8 years. You have seen the political elite use procedures to bring us to war and remove many rights which had origins in our constitution. In short the last 8 years has seen the constitution have its legs cut out from under it and through fear.... the terrorist are going to get you, you wont be safe unless we take your rights.. and so forth they have kept America pacified and complacent. You fear socialism / Marxism but continue to support the regime that has brought us closer to that ideology than any other. Perhaps a study of those ideologies may help for you to see we are already too close to it. Im curious as to when the republicans will make changes to the term length in order to move us closer to a dictactorship.

You should be more afraid of the uninsured, unemployed, homeless masses that are going to be flooding the streets after 4 more years if your candidate gets elected. Hungry, poor people can get pretty dangerous.
All hats off to Obama for his educational achievement. But many have done the same. They are not running for the highest global office. I view him as dangerous, as I do not agree with his socialist/marxist/elitist ideologies. His anti-American agendas will not further us as a nation, or help us get out of the mess we have been given. Simple as that.

He flip flops (as does Obama) on many of occasion but it is viewed as adjusting his stance based on information.....yet Obama is a "flip flopper"? His bomb, bomb, bomb mentality and screw the rest of the world view is going to further drag the American image through the mud and sully it even more throughout the world. He will make and even bigger mess than we already have, simple as that (see how easy it is to turn that against Mccain with only a few changes).

And millions will join you. In fact, I supported McCain's candidacy eight years ago. America would be better off today if he'd been elected then instead of Bush.
But please explain how you see him using his RACE as a political advantage. I think it's generally seen that his minority status is more of a burden than an advantage. Even his own name works against him. Yet, he's been able to overcome these obstacles. I think it's because he speaks to the issues in a way that connects across racial and economic lines.
But what do I know?
I think he has used race to his advantage by claiming to be "different" a "uniter" (whatever that means, he is quite divisive, check his voting record) and an agent of change...this I take to mean because he is "different" he will knows how things are for the downtrodden, etc. Even in one of his latest sermons, he clearly made the point that the evil right wingers were going to bring up the fact that he is a BLACK man. Oh, brother. Pls name one person of note in the Rep party that brings up his race. On the other hand, the left slavers all over themselves because of his race and throws race into every discussion--where it DOES NOT BELONG.
How about, for many of the Obama haters, he's just not the right color. Oh, they'll come up with all sorts of dubious reasons why they dislike the guy but for a significant percentage it gets back to the RW's bread and butter....bigotry.
The old "they're racists" theme started becoming a laughable two years ago.
So can people who don't feel like being crime victims when they've done nothing wrong.
They can be real dangerous when protecting their families and homes.
