The plane in question was a jet purchased by the former governor's corrupt administration who paid much more than it was worth. Palin swore to clean up the mess and sell the jet which, by the way could not land on more than 1/2 of the runways in the state.
YOUR LIE NUMBER 1: IT WAS a luxury jet used by the former governor. Palin refused to use it. It was retrofitted to transport prisoners before it was sold.
YOUR LIE NUMBER 2:Gov. Palin NEVER said it was sold on e-bay. She said she put it on e-bay. When state officials realized they could not get an acceptable bid on e-bay they hired an agent. It did sell for much less than the state hoped for. The state was glad to get rid of it. It was a money pit.
