I read the story just fine, but lets recap what you stated..
So your the one finding that this was a "lie".. good work shirlock, but she didnt lie.. The plane was considered nice enough for the Governor to buy to use, and while it transported a few prisoners, it was bought for the Governor to use to be "comfortable" (per the outgoing Governor) while traveling.

I don't think it was her intention to brag about how she FAILED at her stupid attempt to sell it on EBAY.
Come on, we dems really do know what "IS" IS and You know darn well what she was trying to do here. She was trying to say how clever she was and wanted us to believe it was SOLD on EBAY.

Not sure he is having a good posting period. He kept arguing with me quoting another posters words as mine and posting their name etc . I hope he has figured it out by now.
Lets face it guys.. she didnt lie, and the fact that the Republican party made a big deal about "ebay" was to get Palin to appear to be more like "one of us", a common user of ebay.
It made great press when she did it, it made great press now.. its not a lie, people just assumed to much..
It would probably be prudent we don't start announcing private jets and such are okay for governors....when the governor herself doesn't deem it necessary.
We just got off the $300,000 outfit, hair, disabled children, pregnant daughter....ect.

you know what her intentions were. IN sales, its not what you say, sometimes its what you don't say to decieve the client. Either way she tried a deceptive tact. It made her joke sound funny, so she omitted the rest of the story.
Republicans tend to Cherry pick. It was a Bush speech writer after all.
