Obama isn't going to pay for his programs, you are. I am. All Americans will have to pay for his new socialism for a very long time. His plan is so patently unAmerican it's treasonous.

It's a gamble he will lose. A majority of voting Americans are not that stupid, they will see through both his selection of someone almost supremely unqualified but also see through the bumbling rhetoric of the man himself, so woefully out of touch with this country. And for someone who kept saying "Czechoslovakia" repeatedly in speeches it shows his grasp of world events is seriously lacking.

The complete package of Palin/McCain is one of shocking ineptitude and, while this election will undoubtedly be close (thanks to people putting party over country) there is no way a majority think either of those two capable of assuming the office after 8 startling years of abuse, misconduct and criminal neglect under Bush.

McCain/Palin - Stick a fork in 'em
I guess the rational way to go about this is to wait and see
But thanks for your insight, much appreciated.

LOL no you just think McCain is going to win because his little puppet secretary gave a receptive speech to the republicans. I'l bet you hardly know anything about Palin. Go to the electoral map thread and you will see the reality. People dont vote for running mates. In case you havent figured out, people still have a big problem with John McCain including republicans who believe Palin was a mistake.

Not having to spend billions a month in Iraq will certainly pay for plenty of things at home. Perhaps New Orleans will finally get the attention it deserved years ago.

Hah, that's what I was thinking. It's so painful to think about spending in taxes that would actually help us--it's only okay to throw your every extra penny into killing strangers.

I guess that's your opinion because the polls speak differently.

I think I would trust Palin to drive my kids home after soccer practice.
