Go to the electoral map thread and you will see the reality. People dont vote for running mates. In case you havent figured out, people still have a big problem with John McCain including republicans who believe Palin was a mistake.

His plan is so patently unAmerican it's treasonous.
Palin is the one with the unAmerican plan -- trying to mix politics with religion -- which is in no way what this country's principles were founded on.
Not having to spend billions a month in Iraq will certainly pay for plenty of things at home. Perhaps New Orleans will finally get the attention it deserved years ago.

You do know he wants to add UHC and a civilian army equal to our military which is 439 billion a year strong. @ best both wars are equal to a 1/4 of that.

that's close enough with the margin of error that one might call it practically a tie. If Obama is the "perfect" candidate then why is he tied with "mcsame"

Palin is a threat to *everyone* in this country who is not a radical Christian like her.
you mean republicans are going crazy over her, not democrats, not independents and not undecides. In case you havent noticed, independents and women have been switching over to Obama. Ironically Palin has driven away women.
People tend to forget that just because the base is crazy about her, that does not add to chances of victory. They would have voted McCain anyway. It is ALL about independents.
