She had to work hard and even be part of beauty pageants to earn money to pay for college. Therefore, she had to change college a few times because of price/cost issues. Comm Colleges are cheaper, you know. Obama wouldn't know that since Affirmative Action pushed him for a free ride through colleges. Must be nice, not having to work for your education, but neither Plain nor myself would know that.

She won a scholarship from the Beauty Pageant in 1984 as well as Miss Congeniality. That scholarship should have kept her from having to work unless......hmm lets think.......HER GRADES SUCKED! That's probably why she bounced around so much, not for the cash. It's called student loans or financial aide.
It shows her in TWO beauty pageants in which she came in Third for Miss Alaska (where she won her scholarship) and 1st for Miss Wasilla (whooptie doo) and no other jobs or pageants. It came from your source. But I will applaud your embellishment skills.

Now Im ignoring the "right wing" part of that quote because I dont think thats the answer either, however it always amazes me that people actually want someone with "views in line with the mainstream" and they want someone so super smart.
Many of the REALLY smart people in history have had views that were contested and sometimes even ridiculed by the mainstream.

If they realized and acted on that we likely wouldn't have Obama, Biden, McCain, or Palin to talk about here. This is just another election year with limited choice.

THANK YOU! I am so sick of seeing desperate libs here post anything and everything from the internet and promote it as if it were some sort of valid source of information. Wikipedia is not error-proof, by any means, but it's pretty doggone good if you want to get the right info.
Palin did have a lot of financial burdens getting through college. I applaud her resourcefulness. I'd bet half the idiots that are saying anything about her have never even stepped foot on university soil. Pathetic!
