The effects of an Obama presidency on racism will be subtle. The biggest effect will be on today's young children who see a man of color is the President of the United States and grow up just a little less bigoted and a little more hopeful.
Making a black man president doesn't erase the history of our country.
Now that is quite a reality.........do you have evidence of this from the Harvard admission office, or are you just thinking wistfully and wishfully?
I'm smart enough to know I can't prove anything here so the exercise is rather pointless. Suffice to say I was a national merit finalist and was state ranked in a sport (large state). I wound up going to U of Illinois in their Aero Engineering dept.
Wistfully and wishfully? That's quite a combo...one of those words implies you believe what I wrote, ironic isn't it.
Since you posted this I have been looking for 'Black America' on the map but I can't find it. Is it near 'White Racist Bigotville' - your hometown?
Isn't that where Dumbo's crazy uncle preacher is building his mansion?
