The MSM is declaring this based on his BC on his site and on the DKos site - many people have a real problem with the "copy" he has provided as proof.
All he needs to do is provide the vault copy of his COLB - all these suits would go away. For some odd reason, he won't do it.
Can you imagine if it turns out he has lied about his birthplace? Lied to the American people for 2 years. In fact, he would be open to criminal charges for defrauding millions of dollars. Do we think the MSM wants to go there?

Since the GOP leadership doesn't question Obama birth certificate validated by the Associated Press, the Annenberg Fackcheck/University of Pennsylvania Center for Public Policy of the State of Hawaii, who exactly should be the arbiter of the birth certificate's bona fides?
I've seen a few of those. Didn't you mention MSNBC, Forbes, LATimes, Newsday? I have seen no "current" news in those publications regarding the ongoing cases. Blogs are really not what I'm talking about in terms of a media blackout. Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NYTimes, LATimes, USAToday - have you seen anything in those publications? See, it's not "news" to them - they DON'T report or pick it up, it doesn't get out to the public at large.

This is one of 3 days in a row in which something related to that was in Newsday - leading up to the election, so if folks cared they could have voted otherwise.
The LA Times and Forbes pieces I saw were blogs. "Oh, those don't count." *shrugs* Maybe with the Times. With Forbes, I suspect the folks who get the magazine don't usually wait for it to arrive before looking to see what's what. The NY Times had articles dealing with it, earlier, and blogs dealing with it more recently in the last week or so.
*shrugs* this is more time and energy than it is worth. It is not news today - going to conference is not a big deal, as a small percentage that go to conference get through. On Monday, we will hear the results of the conference (for this and a dozen or two more cases), and then it may be news.

Forget the birth certificate. We know he is not a "natural born citizen", which the Constitution says he must be to be POTUS.
We have birth to two American citizens but not on American soil, regarding John McCain.
And we have (alleged) birth on American soil, to one American Citizen and one foreign national with associated citizenship at birth to Britain, regarding Barack Obama.
Reasonably, there could not be a more "ripe" and timely environment for a SCOTUS decision.
Why let facts get in your way? The laws of the time were clear - for both McCain and Obama. (The other fellow is on his own. He can join Alan Keyes in the obscure 3rd party.)
Born in Hawaii to an American citizen mother = U.S. Citizen, and I already provided the relevant federal laws concerning that citizenship issue - the NJ case is dead in the water as soon as it is looked at by a competent judge again (as opposed to Clarence Thomas).
McCain, too, for all that my friend on the left likes to torment you otherwise.

Kooter, what that is almost compelling evidence of is that this is what the school was told. (It would be more compelling if a higher percentage of the school's records were accurate.)
It does not constitute evidence that Obama changed his name, that Obama changed his citizenship (which, as I have explained to you endlessly, he could not do at that age, nor could his guardians for him), that his religion was Muslim, or that he had three hands.
But, do note that it says he was born in Hawaii.
And guess what?
