Why would a Christian want to recite such a thing? Why would a Christian think that the most beautiful sound in the world?
Perhaps for the same reason that Jews might think a Mass the most beautiful sound in the world - because the glory of sound expressed in the love of deity can be a powerful and moving thing, regardless of perspectives of which deity is in question.
Obama is a politician, and that's what they do...they lie. If anyone believes he is going to change the world and create harmony and unity, you are living in a fairy tale world.
OP - I could only hope that Obama's election was a marxist coup de ta. Then we might get some ecomomic progress in this country instead of Republican mismanagment and corporate greed.
I was an admirer of Obama, although not a political supporter. But then Obama was caught in lie after lie.

It is only a lie if you don't agree with a person. It is called situational truth.
It's called the status quo, as I explained many times on this board Red/Blue/Red/Blue which in reality means "no change".
In short, the shortest I can sum it up: We know that Prescott Bush funded Eisenhowers run for the presidency, Prescott got his money banking with Nazi Germany before the Enemy Act. Nixon was Eisenhower's VP, Nixon was impeached as president. We know Joe P. Kennedy got part of his money from bootlegging and insider trading, he later became head of the SEC. JFK won by 8000 votes in Chicago, JFK was assassinated in Dallas. Walker is the son of H.W., Cheney was sec. of defense during H.W. administration. Clinton is the most powerful man in the world, his wife is the new Sec. of State and Gore and Carter who both preach the new cult of environmentalism and world peace, spend lavishly themselves and support anyone who would exert American dominance throughout the world, more pollution and no peace.
Look, The liberals will sell you liberal philosophy which 53% of Americans currently buy, the conservatives will sell you conservative philosophy which 47% of Americans currently buy into, in the end whether we have a socialist or redneck president 90% of the things they do is the same. One may wonder, how a freshman senator ranked 99/100 with 176 days of experience in the senate become president. Rather one should ask, what favors did he promise and to whom, for the presidency.

That was Obama's big selling point. He hadn't been in the Senate long enough to get set in his ways and corrupted.
Bush, on the other hand has finally shown himself to be a strong Practicing Socialist with the nationalization of the American financial and insurance industries. He is also reputed to be quite the redneck, so you are correct in your assessment. Obama has a lot of work to do to eradicate eight years of mischief by our first redneck socialist president.
