I wonder how many here that are complaining and so worried took time out today and participated in a community service act.

You can complain and female dog bark all day, but what are you doing to change your community?

Be the change that you want to see. This man is human and one person can not do it all.

Face it, he WILL be inaugurated tomorrow, so suck it up, and wait and see what this man can do to help. If he doesn't then we can atleast criticize what he has done.

Not to Bush bash, but his time has come and the decisions he has made are coming to roost. He will be judged in history on the things he has done and so will Obama when its his turn to leave office.

P.S. Complaining and worrying about things that can not be undone is not healthy. You should choose to lead a healthier lifestyle.

I for one am very worried about the new President. I was never fooled by his resume or lack of qualifications for the office of President. I watched him stutter and stammer when asked questions that made him deviate from his prepared speeches. He promoted change and it is obvious he has no intention of changing. His complete and utter lack of experience scares me. His socialist ties and agendas will only help to promote the ruin of this country. And the worst part of it all is his obvious involvement in the corruption that is Illinois politics. Also, his wife could give Hillary a run for the dubious mantra of scariest first lady. I will give him credit for a good sense of humor and I think he knows how to have a modicum of bipartisanship. He also seems to have some energy too.

But overall, I am not seeing a qualified person of character who will be great for our country. I see a weak Jimmy Carter styled President who will potentially cause great harm. I honestly hope he proves me wrong.

Any else have worries they care to share?
It worries me that too many (but obviously and thankfully not enough) people have "concerns" and "reservations about Obama but could not see the shortcomings that McCain had. The main one being that he is an ancient man knocking on death's door who picked a bubblehead, ditz known as Sarah Palin as his potential successor.

That worried ME as a nightmare scenario for America but tomorrow the dream of a greater America will be realized.

Well the last 8 years were awful no doubt! I think it could get worse, but we'll just have to hope and pray that it doesn't.

I do not know what is more scary Obama's policies, his followers or the people around him. lovemeiiorhatemii above is a perfect example, some of us just want to be left alone and do not want to be forced to participate in your utopian community bull****.

I sure hope his policy statements move to the middle. I just got my W2's and it is disgusting what the government is taking from me. I worked my ass off this year only to have it all go to taxes. It is like all the extra work meant nothing and he wants to take more of it to be re-distributed. Enough is enough already. I want the government out of my life and to stop stealing my money.

I could have sent my kid to college on the mount the federal government have been taking these last few years. This is total bull****.

I keep hearing these cries of "Change", but they never define what this change is, what they're changing or how they're going to do so.

It's like that South Park episode, where the town was partying and whooping it up; everybody was getting hammered and running around crying out "Whoo-Hoo, CHANGE!", but in the morning they awoke and realized that everything was the same and in fact nothing had changed at all.

I suspect things will go on as before-I actually think things are going to get worse (I'm waiting for my taxes to rise again). People will wake up Wednesday morning and realize that the magic wand has not been waved and our troubles have not been erased after all. I feel a lot are in a for a rude awakening...

Oh yes, I worry about Obama! If I had wanted to be a socialist, I would have moved to Europe. If I had wanted to be a Communist, I would have moved to Russia, or China, ect. Since I was raised to be a lover of "freedom", and "independence", I have great concern for any "leader" who would advocate otherwise. I like to be optomistic, but, I'll have to admit that I have fear that our great Country is going in the opposite direction of it's original purpose--backwards--toward what our ancestors came here to escape from.

We will have a new terrorist president who doesn't support global warming,
or shaving taxes!

I think we voted for a guy based on popularity.
Most have not clue to what this thug is up to
and how our country will be destroyed under
his administration.

I am sure its been said. The U.S. came about as close as a country can come to being totally and untterly destroyed during the last administration. Sure there have been some acknowledgements that GWB may not have been the best president and in fact may have been one of the worst but there was never, I repeat, never, any of the whiny, hand wringing, fear, about what he was doing. Not even in 2004 when his agenda was by then well known. It is a little late, really, for this kind of thread. If you wanted someone different as president it was as simple as actually putting some viable alternatives on the ballot! It was that simple but no one did it. The fault then is entirely and utterly on the heads of those that did not and not on the one who has been chosen. If taxes rise, so be it. They were going to rise anyway under McSame. You think they wouldn't? At least the pain will be felt a little higher up the food chain under Obama. Is that a bad thing? Are any of you kvetching here in the 50% tax bracket or are you simply female dog barking because you have some time to kill before bed? Honestly, some of you should go back and delete your posts they are so... ... sad.
