I think the republicans will definiely pick up some seats and maybe more than anyone thinks.

The best thing to happen would be to have republicans take over the house. With total gridlock "they" can't hurt us.

We won't know for sure until this health care cluster-f** is voted on.

Too early to call, at this time I think the GOP should set a goal of a 20-25 seat gain in the House, and a couple of seats in the Senate.

This would be a good start.

The party in power usually loses seats in a "normal" mid-term election. In this case, I think you will see Republicans pick up a significant number of seats. I think you have several factors here, including the economy, "buyer's remorse" over Obama and the overwhelming Democrat congressional majority, and a general desire to throw out incumbents.

It all depends on the economy, and how this healthcare thing works out.

If the economy is going well, and its showing signs, then I think it'll be very bad for the Republicans.

The healthcare thing is a wild card. I don't know how thats going to hit home yet, it will probably depend on the plan that comes out. Also, I know Republicans will be out in droves trying to pick up seats, so Democrats will have to fight to get out the vote to combat that.

I think enough people will start to see through these shams that the republicans will pick up quite a few seats.

Not that republicans are much better, but at least some of them still have a conservative ideology.

I truly believe that the current congress and admin being SO far left is going to bring a lot of conservatives back. As long as we've still got a democracy in a few years (here's hoping), we SHOULD be OK.

There are still going to be a lot of loudmouthed, uneducated, far-leftists that just want to vote for a rock star instead of using common sense, but the ones in the middle will start to lean back to the conservative side of things.

Don't you have another act? That one trick pony of bring up Palin gets boring. I could say the same thing....expect blowback over wackos like Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Barney Frank, Waxman, etc. and as I mentioned, there will be a significant number of independents who bought the lines from Obama on taxes and his not being a way out leftie. They have serious buyer's remorse and many will not be fooled twice.

I have a prediction...a bunch of useless lawyers are going to be elected to office and have power over us. They will use this power to the highest degree to further their own careers. They will waste more tax payer money on their lavish lifestyles and bull **** pork bills. They will kiss the special interests' ass and let the lobbyists legislate. They will take private jets to their August vacation homes on our tax dollar and make Government a gigantic, liberty siphoning entity that has one objective- that is to Gain Power.

This prediction has an accuracy rate of 100%.

Thank you

I'd be willing to put money on this prediction.
