I can't speak for the whole continent but most German men (maybe 99%) are not circumcised.

I think it's an unnecessary barbaric tradition if performed at people under a certain age when they cannot consent to it.

They are right, here it is only done because of medical reasons, it is not considered extremely bad or negative, but not necesary.
Some men say that sex is not the same after circumcision, so they don't like it too much either.

In the Philippines, it is practised not because of religion but because of hygiene purposes.
I don't know if it was the Americans that introduced circumcision to us, but a boy that's not circumcised is often the target of jokes and often humiliated.

Some scientific studies say that this practice may goes in negative consequences, in my opinion it is very subjective, I mean depends on the individual case.
Anyway l do not advise you to have the surgery here in Italy, the professional level is not very high (many people get the job as surgeon, thanks to recommendations and corruptible people) if you decide, over my ad, to have here circumcision.. must know.. you could wake up the day after without testicles

I agree with this, of course there may be cases where it needs to be done for medical reasons too.

It was. Circumcision has never been a Christian thing. It was only promoted in the US in the early 20th century for so-called 'health' reasons and also, believe it or not, to discourage masturbation. I see it as mild mutilation and think infant circumcision should be banned. The boy can make up his own mind if he really wants it when he's of age. South Korea also has a high rate of circumcision because of the American influence. I think those two are the only non-Muslim nations in Asia where circumcision is commonly practised. It's funny Americans make fun of boys who aren't circumcised, in much of the world it would be the opposite. In Nazi Germany they could identify Jews because they were circumcised.
