This is kind of funny because San Diego often gets morning low clouds / fog in the Spring & Summer. The low clouds are especially prone to hanging around all day in May & June. They call it May Gray / June Gloom...and they don't mean that in a good way.

Southern Spain has the best climate overall in Europe. Hot enough in the summer to swim but not too humid and by far the best winter weather in Europe.

Cold and snowy but not too frigid winters, long gradual shoulder seasons and warm but not overly hot summers. Beautiful.

Mariupol in Eastern Ukraine is also extremely good: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariupol#Climate

Yeah, Chisinau is very good.

Seems we have similar tastes in climate. Let's marry and have babies.

I need to feel real frost for some months and I don't like mild winters. I regret the lack of foliage over the cold season but overall is better than having an year round mild climate.

And Chișinău is not that bad, never been there but I suppose is like in Romania (except for the lack of mountains), because of the situation on the Chernozem belt of the planet, having the best soil in the world, resulting in healthy vegetation, oxygen rich atmosphere, good waters, good vegetables and fruits.

Hilly cities in the countries surrounding the mid Adriatic have a close to perfect climate for me. They are true 4 seasons climates with snowy and rainy winters, warm and dry summers ith the occasional shower and long shoulder seasons

many days of 40C (such as Seville) in the summer isn't exactly "hot enough". It is simply too hot. You don't swim every single day, and definitely not for the entire day.

winter temperature alone isn't the only factor.
