Seems we have similar tastes in climate. Let's marry and have babies.
Chisinau weather, as all Moldova, Eastern Romania and Southern Ukraine is OK but not that great. It is too continental and extreme, can get really hot in the summer and too cold and windy in the winter. It varies wildly from the averages that you see on Wikipedia, some years the winters can be brutal and the summers cold and rainy, other years will have mild winters and hot dry summers.
There is no mountain range to stop the polar air coming from Siberia.
You will get better weather in Belgrade, Timisoara, Cluj and maybe even Budapest.
I know but there's no point in saying Croatia has good weather if it snows in winter.
I guess that depends. I honestly don't think 41C plus burning sun in July is any better than some light snow in January when the temperature is not bitterly cold.
Central Europe. 4 defined seasons with warm summers and cold winters and pleasant springs/falls. I feel Europeans are so much wimpier than Americans though. Americans are more likely to embrace hardier weather than Europeans. Europeans are also kind of spoilt, not having to deal with tornadoes and the like.
many days of 40C (such as Seville) in the summer isn't exactly "hot enough". It is simply too hot. You don't swim every single day, and definitely not for the entire day.
Even 30C is too hot to me. About 24C is IMO ideal summer daytime temperature.
