Hochdeutsch (not Dialekt) is splendid, Dutch is just annoying.

I love the sound of Norwegian and Finnish too, but that already has nothing to do with living in Germany...

Tell that to Xavier Naidoo!
To think that all germans listen to techno music or electronic music in general is pretty ignorant to boot!

The Germans I know listen to Bach and Wagner every day - as do I. If you think all German music is techno or electronic crap, that just shows the amount of your ignorance. And why do you have to judge a culture on the lowest that colture can offer anyway? In this case all American musical culture has to offer is the violent, racist and misogynist gangsta rap.

One of things I love the most about Germany is its music, and it pains me to see ignorant people make ignorant statements about something that is so dear to me.

I lived in Frankfurt two years, then in Berlin three

yes Germany is boring, it has too many rules, German people to noisy and police you constantly, german neighbors love to call the polizei on you because you washed your car, or because you didn't recycle properly, and YES GERMAN MUSIC IS HORRIBLE!!!

good aspects of germany: wurst, open people, festivals, affordable goods, things work!

I have yet to hear Germans listening to classical music everyday! Sorry but I don't buy that

Another annoying thing about Germany, is that they try really hard to be like Americans. Why do you wanna be like Americans? Americans are annoying, be Germans, you'll look cooler!
