Didn't make it to the gym the past two days but got there today. I worked my arms and back, increased the weights with fewer reps on everything. No three sets of 12, as one set is all I have time for. I did 8-12 of everything. I also did 30 minutes on the stair machine (145 flights).

It was definitely tougher. Now that it's fine I don't know that I physically feel any different. My arms may be a little more tired but it's hard to tell several hours later. I mostly just felt paranoid that people were looking at me as if I were weak after stopping much sooner than usual for me, although I know it's unlikely anyone was actually paying attention.

I can almost guarantee that no one else was even paying attention, and even if they were, so what? Switching it up to more weight but less reps is going to be much more beneficial to you.
I think I will be doing some up and down the ladder to clean tall cabinet exercises....
Sweeping the floor of 2200 square feet.
This (for me is huge), but this thread is encouraging me to inch away from "fear of exercise.
I wouldn't even attempt it without your words of encouragement.. thanks all!
I "Rucked" with 35lb pack ten miles on Saturday, on road (black top) and then on the trails, Land Nav style.
Today I jumped rope already 1000 times, later hitting the pool hard. Weights tomorrow. Just another day of feeling good.
