An hour of cardio, heavy abs. Didn't get my legs in. Will do that tomorrow.

Back at the gym after a year off. I'm high risk. Starting off slow, lost 10 lbs in the past year and a lot of muscle. I'm still jittery from the workout. Did balance, legs and shoulders; tomorrow its chest and abs. Its a funny thing, some exercises I simply can't remember how to do or my form is horrible. I don't know if I will get back to five days a week which was perhaps overkill at my age.

Still, at my age, I have to go. I visited with a friend yesterday. I really was shocked at how much she has deteriorated over the past year, literally bone and flab, no muscle at all. Us older folks need weight lifting more than younger folks.

It's good that you are starting back. Ease in slowly and regain your form. Remember that it takes longer to recuperate when you are older.

LOL, don't I know it. I'm just going to redevelop my routine again to see what my starting point is and to pay attention to form. On some of the weights, I can only do about 1/3 of what I could earlier. On some exercises, I know I use to do something but exactly how I forgot. But it feels good to be back at the gym. Today, I'm going to work on my form with the landmine and face pull done properly.

Entering an early Mud Season in New England.
Spent yesterday with a wheel barrel filling pot holes in my gravel runway.Even with years of logging its still back breaking work. To day I'm tammping down 2600 feet of stone and gravel . lost approx 5 lbs of sweat lol.

Starting to ramp up the exercise lately.

This morning did 50 minutes on bike, I think that's 4 consecutive days of doing 50 minutes on stationary bike at home.

In the afternoon did some leg work at home. 100 bodyweight squats, 48 reps goblet squats with 30-35 lb dumbbell, 80 reps standing calf raises with dumbbells, bodyweight glute bridges.
