Whenever I see really chiseled lean 6 pack, it looks abnormal and almost unhealthy to me.

You know the ones where it's super defined with each "pack" so pronounced.

For me I think a "flat" tummy with the 3 vertical lines looks more normal / attractive / healthy.

I'm not making light of ppl who work their butt off in the gym and eat super careful to get this. But you need to be caloric deficit to be abnormally low body fat to attain such a "look".

Yeah, that's something where men get caught up in fitness culture and body dysmorphia. Doing what it takes to get a 6-pack does take discipline and dedication, but that's not the same thing as healthy behavior and mindset.

Depends on the BF%. At certain point it becomes hazard to your health. I like the look of it.

Nope. I don't find overly muscular physiques appealing. Exaggeration implies obsessive self involvement. You can demonstrate discipline to fitness in other ways.

No, I don’t like it on a man, and I especially don’t like it on a woman. Somewhere in between, as the OP stated, is ideal.

Probably less than 1% of the human population truly has six packs so it would definitely quality as "abnormal." I wouldn't go so far as to say it's unattractive though. To me, that shows a level of dedication inside and outside of the gym that is attractive for anyone because, frankly, most people are lazy or just don't know enough how to attain it.

I have had a six pack as a female numerous times in my competing life. Each time lasts about a week. Takes an extremely low bodyfat level and dehydration to make that six pack "pop." Do I like it when it occurs? You bet. Do I keep it when it occurs? No. It lasts a week. I am not that into being light headed and uncomfortable from lack of bodyfat and water to be that inspired to keep the ol six pack and I don't raise my shirt to friends or on social media to have a need to show it off. No one ever paid me a large fitness model salary to keep one so just being healthy today is a good enough accomplishment for me.

It really depends for me. I've got a defined stomach with a 4 pack. I can't get those last two dam packs to show lol. They are defined but not popping in anyway

As a female, I would say you are doing great. And you train your abs. You could get them to pop if you were willing to be miserable. I just can't see sustaining long term misery. Maybe try for an event if you are really motivated.
