It seemed it used to be that way - now it's reverse. Old men seem to be the only one that wear briefs. I don't know any guy age 40 that wear briefs (I know this from family, ex-bfs, friends, guys my husband works with talk about it, etc) back in the 80's maybe early 90's guys under 40 seemed to wear them but then around late 90's early 00's that trend seem to shift. Now on TV I see tighty whites for the nerdy types, old guys, or for jokes (think Alan on 2 and a half men, Peter Griffin on Family Guy, Breaking Bad.)

Mine wears boxer briefs mostly, or boxers. I don't like the look of briefs.

I went to a local market this morning and noticed that one of the store employees (a young guy in his 20s) wore his jeans halfway down his butt with his boxers showing. Tacky!
