I don't get wearing boxer shorts as underwear

I prefer boxer briefs or briefs, they're more comfortable. I don't even see loose boxer shorts as proper underwear. I mean people are free to wear what they want, but I wonder why they're so popular.

Boxers revolt me. They are worn by 70 year old men who wear their pants up to their armpits and all their junk is swaying around, clearly visible. Genitals are not meant to be obvious (except in someone under the age of 25) *or* bouncy (ever). It's just nasty as heck. I actually had a boyfriend once who wore them and when he was in jeans it was ok, but when he wore slacks, it was disgusting beyond belief.

Please, for the love of god, don't do it. Ever.

I don't like them either--think they are for small packages --as they have very little support for the substantial.
