In vogue in maybe medieval times. High gas ion and Hollywood control what is in today and neither of them appreciates a big bust. Or when they do it stops at D or DD. Anything bigger then that is reserved for peon stars or actresses that won't get anything but bimbo roles. Think about people like Pamela Anderson or Carmen Electra or Diora Baird. Maybe they aren't the best actresses but consider the roles they get. Their are worse actresses that get more varying roles. I am curious to see where Christina Hendricks career goes now that Mad Men is coming to an end.
Hendricks had some interesting roles before Mad Men, though, including the memorable Saffron guest starring role from Firefly, as well is at least a few semi-regular parts on some short-lived TV series. She also has three movies coming out this year. So, I suspect she'll do fine for herself for at least the next several years, as she'll be living off the waves of critical acclaim from Mad Men, and her winning some "Sexiest Woman Alive" award in the past year or two.

I remember her from Firefly. She wasn't as buxom or as busty as she is now. She's put on a few pounds and her chest has grown seemingly exponentially they way she pushes it up and let's it hang out on the red carpet. And God bless her for it. However Hollywood treats her as if she has invented big boobs. I think it was her that said many designers won't send her dresses to wear because of her figure. Either way I don't think she'll ever be A list because of it.

Maybe Hollywood needs to loosen up. It's weird that things have gotten so over-sexualized and repressed at the same time.

That's because (and I have read this in articles, so it isn't just my own opinion) high fashion and Hollywood are operated by a disproportionate number of gay men. Gay men prefer the appearance of men (naturally) so they will be most drawn toward women who look like men. That would explain why there is a focus on women looking stick-thin, with very little by way of breasts and hips... essentially, women who are as un-feminine as possible become models.
I'll pass. Gimme one with the works, and super-size her... oh wait, got that already.
I do see some men vilified for wanting a woman whose dimensions are simply unattainable in real life.
This. Preferring or even expecting ideals which require surgery, photoshop and/or some genetic anomaly.
The ideals for women are very unattainable & rarely occur in nature. If men into big boobs also liked big arms, big tummies, etc, then it would be less annoying.

The ones who do are "vilified", yes. Hence the term "size queen", which is not a compliment.

Yes. We're told sexy women have big boobs. Small boobs means you're cute & maybe an guy into butts or legs will overlook them if you have a decent body otherwise. Oh joy. We get most of the "problems" that go with boobs & few of the benefits.
And if I hear one woman say, "but it must be nice to go braless!" ... Nope. Unless very flat, then small boobs still require support & have "bounce", especially as they often go with a smaller frame. And uh, we have nipples too, you know.

"Plenty" of men, maybe...just not as vocal. Or really, they are into different body parts. For men into boobs, size seems the main factor.

Yes. Objectification is a reason also.

It isn't. Who said that's a fair mentality?
Of course, attraction has little to do with fairness, and I'm not sure it should. But the ones who lose out are usually those with the ridiculous standards, so I guess let them be picky if they want to. They've narrowed their options, perhaps too much so.

Quite the opposite... most art shows women with much smaller busts in proportion to their body frames than the modern ideal. The Greek ideal for women was quite slender, small-busted, and not the extreme hourglass caricature touted nowadays as "what a woman should look like".
Even images of fatter women with cellulite in art often aren't extremely busty. When more exaggerated hourglasses have been popular, it always coincides with clothing in fashion that creates the look. It's always taken corsets, girdles, padding in the bust & bustles on the butt, etc, to achieve the extreme hourglass look. Now it's butt injections & breast implants.
I think the vilification is connected to promoting/preferring an ideal requiring such "enhancements". It makes women feel like their bodies aren't good enough naturally.

The funny thing is that, if you read the scientific literature, big breasts are proven to be less sensitive, on the whole, than smaller breasts... and the conclusion is that that's because there are the same number of nerve endings, just spread out over a larger area.
There's no correlation between size & amount of actual breast tissue either, so size has no connection to nurturing offspring. Breasts are pretty much just fat.

If he likes a big-breasted woman.... great.... as I said, there are quite a few of those out there and they need love too. Whether or not they WANT to have big breasts, they have them and as such they should be admired and loved by any man who would be with such a woman. There are three possibilities for a big-breasted woman - 1) she will have a man who only wants to be with her because of her "nice rack", 2) she will have a man who wants to be with her "in spite of" her physical appearance, 3) she will have a man who wants to be with her for multiple reasons including "because of" her physical appearance. The only good one of those is #3. Every woman no matter what she looks like should have a man who loves her physical appearance. For a big-breasted woman, that means the man must love big breasts. Simply put, the world needs guys like the OP. He just has to explain his tastes in a respectful and respectable way... and he'll avoid all possible detraction.
I agree with this sentiment... but I think the issue is there are MORE men into big breasts than women who naturally have them...or many of these men want them on an otherwise slender frame (& most women won't naturally have both). Hence, the popularity of boob jobs & padded bras.
And I DON'T think this is necessarily "natural" taste. People won't admit it or see it, but their taste IS shaped by cultural ideals. Porn & men's magazines & pop culture have fed boys & young men images of huge boobs as the ideal for decades now, so some men's tastes have shaped most men's tastes. Before porn & boob jobs hit the mainstream, huge boobs on a small frame was not idealized so much.
I think part of the vilification is connected to that. Are they not thinking for themselves & just brainwashed by porn & their male peers into preferring giant boobs?

False. The designers who popularized the waif look were straight men - married to women & fathers. Calvin Klein is one. He simply likes skinny women. He has also said it was in reaction to the rising popularity of breast implants.
Plus, thin, tall frames simply make for a more versatile canvas; the clothes are supposed to be the focus.
It's rude to refer to those women as looking like men. They don't have a penis & still have a woman's body structure. Most are teenage girls & will fill out later, hence most runway models not having careers past age 20 or so. Or they go into other forms of modeling where they can be a bit larger (ie. catalogs).
