Why is it more acceptable to like big butts than big boobs? (legs, girl)

With all due respect, nickierose20, have you tried talking to a counselor? I'm concerned that you may have a body image issue that needs to be addressed somewhere outside a public message board.
Did anyone else see the segment on 60 minutes or 20/20 (can't remember which) recently about the women who get all those injections so they can have a big butt.
I think it's stupid to risk your life for something like this.
I was also reading that women across the U.S. are risking their lives for black market procedures to make their buttocks bigger, often involving home-improvement materials such as silicone injected by people with no medical training. I just don't get it!
What happened to being happy with what we were blessed with?
I'm just curious? To me it seems more vulgar to like big butts because the men obsessed with it are usually more crude rude and it's annoying for me personally. I don't get why it's more acceptable for a man to judge a woman for her butt than her boobs? Why is this?
I think this must be relative to where you live, because where I am, it really appears to be more like how you see it: I don't see women preferring to be admired for the behind at all. Most I have encountered seem to reflect your narrow-minded view; that it is ok to denounce or think less of a man who can appreciate a 'well-rounded' posterior. So tell me, why are the yoga and other overly tight fitting pants getting to be the standard among women, if the rear is a disrespectful area to admire??
You can't grow boobs unless you get pregnant, or gain mass amounts of weight. If you do the second route, you'd have to find away to lose the tummy weight without losing the boobs.
For butts, just dedicate your life to squats and lunges, and any other exercises geared to the booty.
This! When I think of the big butt men I think of the likes of Kanye West (Kim K), P. Diddy ( J.Lo) but to me big breasts men are more Wall Street types not gangbangers.
Ummmm... can I say it?? Well, I will! This seems to be very racially motivated/biased, whether you intended it to be or not.
I'm extremely busty myself (with an average butt for my size), and catch ALL types of men gawking at them. Wall street types, "gangbangers," engineers, lawyers, waiters, black, white, Hispanic, you name it. So as a large-breasted woman, I would say you are completely wrong here. The OP seems to be coming from left field too, as I've never noticed more "acceptance" of one preference over the other. Some men/women are into butts, some into boobs, others into something else altogether - and I've never heard anyone judge one (preference) as better than another.
FYI: I'm not saying ALL men find large breasts attractive, I'm saying men of all TYPES find them attractive. Just wanted to clear that up, so it's not taken the wrong way.
There are some studies out there which show men into big boobs have, on average, lower IQs and lower incomes than men who like small boobs.
Didn't say anything about butts, but smart and/or wealthy men may not be so into big boobs after all.
Show us these "studies," then. You can't do that, though, can you? Probably because they're either a complete fabrication, or from a source so laughable we'd all (those of us who aren't dumb) tear it apart in a nanosecond. I mean, the logistics of even doing such a study would be very difficult if not impossible.
Guess what? There are studies showing that people with fruit-related screen names tend to live in trailer homes, but I don't have the energy to go looking for the studies' links... do you believe me?

I'm guessing the back of a Cracker-Jack box? Or the 2014 equivalent, which means Googling it and blindly grabbing the first "source" that proves your intended point. As a reference librarian, knowing that kind of "research" passes these days really hurts my brain.
But men who are into boobs generally are all about SIZE. And even boobs that are large may be dismissed for being floppy or being fake. Or big boobs are preferred on a body size too thin to often be busty naturally (since boobs are just fat). And there's little any woman can do to improve her boobs without surgery (which can be seen negatively too). So boob men seem PICKY and unrealistic.
Meh, definitely not the experiences I've had as a (naturally) large-breasted woman... I honestly can't think of a SINGLE time a man was like "your boobs are huge, but too droopy and natural-looking for my taste." Maybe that's a passing thought in some men, but for the most part I just get the attitude of "boobies, boobies, yeaaaaahhhh." Or something along those lines, LOL.
So at least in my observations, if a man (or woman) TRULY likes large breasts, they generally don't care so much about the shape, firmness, etc. Unless they're a SoCal dude who is only used to seeing silicone, then they might just be confused by a natural pair.
There are studies that say that curvier women produce smarter children.
I think such studies are made to make certain people feel bad about themselves.
You like big boobs? THAT'S 'CAUSE YOU'RE STOOOOOPPIIIIED.
You're skinny? YOUR KIDS ARE GONNA BE STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPIEEED.
Totally. When it comes down to it, anyone can do a "study" on anything... it's HOW the study is conducted that matters, and often by whom. If I walk around my apartment complex and ask 20 random people a question, does that equal a study? Quite different from, say, a Stanford doctor who's been studying the issue for decades - along with multiple control groups, scientific/medical backing, peer-reviewed reports, etc. But I guess some people will believe anything, especially now that we have the Interwebs at our fingertips.
