25 minutes total for shower with hair washing, make-up, dressing with jewelry and accessories, gathering up my handbag and glasses. An extra five minutes to make sure the house is locked up and grab coffee I've pre-made with a timer.

Most of you are really fast in getting ready. If I have under 1.5 hours left to get ready, then its assured that I will be late.

Normally I do too but I find that if I just force myself to get going it's easier. That and driving in Atlanta will wake you up!

I usually go swimming every morning, so that means I have to wash my hair every morning and that adds to the time.

6 am - wake up, bathroom, take a quick peek at work emails on my phone to make sure nothing blew up while I was sleeping. Throw on swimsuit and head down to pool. Swim laps for 30 minutes.
6:35 - turn on electric kettle, hop into shower
6-40 - out of shower (I have long/thick hair, I tuck it into one of those microfiber turban towels to dry)

6:40 - 7:00 - I then putz around for a bit in my robe/turban, making tea, feeding the cats, making a smoothie or some steel cut oats for breakfast. Super quick kitchen cleanup.

7:00 - 8:00 - log on to my laptop and check work emails, get a head start on my day.

8 - 8:15 - dry and style hair, apply makeup. my makeup routine is fairly light. moisturizer, SPF, powder. eyeliner, neutral shadow, mascara.

I'm usually dressed by 8:30. I try to play with the cats for about 10 minutes before I leave and walk out the door at 8:45. (My manager is fine with me getting to work between 9 and 9:30 because of the hour I spend working from home.)

So most of my morning routine isn't active grooming.

-7 minutes-Get up, pee, pop a pill and shower
-5 minutes-Lotion up (face and body) Brush teeth, make-up
-5 minutes-get dressed
-10-15 minutes if I blow out my hair and flat iron it, ...if I leave it wet..2 minutes to spray in some leave in conditioner and brush it out
-5 minutes pack lunches
-3 minutes -throw on jewelry and pour coffee in travel mug

27-40 minutes...that's with getting 3 kids out the door as well
I don't eat breakfast until I'm at work and then it's just a banana and dry cereal or a kashi bar

About 45 minutes to prepare if im going to work..
if it's the weekend maybe like 20 mins.

Showering is numero uno in my book
then I get out and dry off and brush the chompers and tongue (ew!)
then I put a facial moisturizer on
then I put overall body lotion on arms, legs, and torso.
then I walk around naked for about 5 mins letting my lotions dry and absorb.
while I'm waiting I tidy up my bathroom from use.
After lotions have set, I put on deodorant and apply an eye roller to my eyes to brighten them up and keep them looking awake.
I then dress myself
then I do my hair.
Then I look in my full body mirror and look at myself for imperfections (there never is any) and say to myself "damn, im fine."
then I do a hair flip and walk out the door lookin fly as a mofo.
